My son fancies going here for his 11th birthday with 3 of his friends. It looks good on the website but I’m a bit surprised to see that I would have to pay full price just to spectate. I don’t want to swim and don’t want to pay £23 to sit there so am wondering if anyone has ever been that can tell me if you can see the water park from the reception/cafe area? Thanks

Just go to Emma Bridgwater whist they're swimming, especially if you're driving. It's hag a mile away and you can get lunch there too

The main cafe/food bit is right next to the pool and there's always non-swimmers in there if you just want to watch - not sure how you access it if not swimming as I've always been in the pool, but I'm guessing there's a way. My kids love it there.

I think if you want to spectate you have to pay the full entry fee. Maybe they want to keep the poolside area clear, but it seems a bit daft when non-swimmers are likely to spend a lot in the cafe as they're killing time.

Thank you. I’ll have to stay and spectate sadly because I’m taking son and his friends so feel I’d need to be nearby! Annoyed I have to pay full price to spectate- seems ridiculous! Thanks for replies

I'm sure you'd be able to go as far as Emma Bridgewater though? It seems a long day of you've got to stay there
