Spending a couple of days there next week with another couple.

We know about Betty's obviously!

What other things would you recommend? Searching online just seems to turn up other things in that general area rather than in Harrogate itself.

Thanks

The valley gardens and the Sun Pavilion is a beautiful art deco building (I got married there 5 years ago). Knaresborough isn't to far away and that's also a nice place to have a wander around or take a boat out onto the river.

Go to the starling or threes a crowd
turkish baths
walk/ picnic on the stray
valley gardens
lots of easy walks into the countryside
36 bus to harewood house - muddy boots is quite good to eat as well
train to knaresborough

mostly eating, drinking or shopping
not many tourist attractions as such

Harlow Carr. It’s really beautiful and if you are planning to visit Bettys there is one in here.

HelpMebeok · 03/06/2023 17:36

If you are going to Betty's in town for afternoon tea, you need to book. You can't book anything else , and have to join the queue. You can't book anything at Harlow Carr either, not even afternoon tea.
