We've just checked in.

Garden is untidy. 3 filthy chairs. Long grass. Not usable as described - we wanted to use it for bbqs
Bins all full.
No plugs in sinks. Cannot wash dishes apart from under running water.
Loft bedroom no curtains so very bright
One oven pan, 3 frying pans, 3 saucepans. Literally nothing else to cook with
Sleeps 6 only 5 eating knives.
Minimal other utensils.
No bathroom gels/shampoos as advertised

Pity, it's a nice area but i can't see us managing for 10 nights here and cannot see how the host company are going to be able to sort in time .

What should we do? Complain first thing in morning?

Oh that's disappointing definitely complain.

In the meantime you could buy a washing up bowl and some foil - you should be able to fashion oven dishes and lids etc out of that. Buy a ready meal or takeaway that comes with disposable cutlery and save it. Eat out if you can afford it.

It's an adventure....

If there is a host company, some of it can get sorted - bins, maybe the grass trimmed, someone there can go to Tesco for cutlery and pans and a washing up bowl.

Yes I've just written my complaint with reference to their description. We will get some bits and we did get a takeaway for tonight.

I'm happy to have a laugh about some of it but at £150 a night it's a bit less amusing!
