Barmouth for the day

Visiting Thursday for the day from West Midlands. Have never been!

Can anyone recommend the best place to park for the beach? Thanks.

Barmouth is lovely
The beach has road side parking and a large car park problem is its usually full.
I would suggest you go very early. Recently we went and couldn't park at all,
So we went up the coast the this beach.

Its lovely has a church next to the beach and a nice cafe, if you look on the Cafe Webcam you can see how busy the beach is.

Harlech is also a great beach if the car parks full its £3 on the leisure centre you can then walk in to town up the UK's steepest road or walk to the beach.

How did you get on? We went on Sunday. Spent an hour riding round, unable to park, so went to Blackrock Sands instead.

Visited Barmouth again on Monday but made sure we were there & parked up by 10am!
