I’m staying near the Tamar Valley soon and am struggling with very limited mobility due to long covid. I am after suggestions of either car parks with a nice view or cafes and pubs with nice gardens in the area. I can basically just walk 20 metres or so and just want to sit somewhere and see somewhere new! Thanks

The White Hart at Chilsworthy and The Finnygook.
Maybe a bit of a drive, but also Warren House Inn and Bearslake Inn

Gorgeous views from the car park at Kit Hill Country Park
There’s also a scenic train trip visittamarvalley.co.uk/attractions/take-a-trip-on-the-tamar-valley-line

Devils point has beautiful views and lots of benches near where the car park is.

Drive onto Dartmoor if you can. There are plenty of car parks with views.

The Tre Pol Pen is a nice place to go. If you can park up time top of the car park it's very close to the cafe and farm shop.

The Finnygook Inn is over on the Rame Peninsula. The Edgecumbe Arms is on the front at Torpoint, nice gardens and water views and a lovely pub if you can get in there.

Kit Hill has a great view from the car park at the top.

Otherwise go into Plymouth and park down on the Hoe?

Thank you so much! I wasn’t sure I would get any replies so this is great. I toyed with the idea of getting a wheelchair but didn’t think would fit it in the car with all the luggage. Driving around somewhere scenic actually makes me feel a lot better so that’s the plan for the holiday!

@Fivemoreminutes1
It's beautiful there!! I used to live more or less round the corner in Carew Close.
Broke my heart (and eventually my marriage) to leave.
I'd live there again in a heartbeat
