I’ve been a few times. It’s okay. Much the same as any other centre parcs- overpriced and like a Haven in the woods 😁 but the kids love it. It’s not a particularly great area though, you’re 5 mins down the road from the delights of Thetford - which we live fairly near and isn’t a very nice area really, pretty rough! But if you’re not planning to visit thetford and just stay at CP or use it as a base for the rest of Norfolk (coast is lovely and High Lodge just down the road is nice) then it’s fine.

We went at the end of March and had the best time. Seriously, it was magical for our family and we're locals so were dubious about heading just a few mins down the road at a massive expense. The nature is so tame, it's surreal! I haven't been to any other sites but I was really happy with Elveden. Really clean and everything felt well organised. The lodges were perhaps a bit tired in places and could do with a deeper clean than housekeeping normally get the chance to, but they weren't dirty by any means.

I actually liked it enough to apply for a job and just interviewed for it. I was actually so happy to go back just for the interview that I just got a starbucks and walked through the village for a bit afterwards lol

Compared to Whinfell I found Elveden really overcrowded. Have been at both over peak bank holiday weekends - it was very obvious at Elveden that it was full to bursting but Whinfell didn't feel half as busy or crowded.

We like elveden the best of all the CP so far.

Compared to Woburn, Elveden is tired and a bit grubby.

The swimming pool is good though - it feels like there’s lots more bits to do than Woburn like little whirlpools and the warm lagoon.

I usually drive past Elveden to go to Woburn! But it’s not terrible - I’ve booked Elveden again next year just for a change.

We've done Longleat, Woburn and Elveden.

Elveden is our favourite. Longleat too hilly and Woburn pool was rubbish in comparison to the others.

We had a week in Elveden earlier this year and it was fantastic. Granted it was our first CP, but we were so pleased with it. Not at all hilly, super friendly animals and everything was surprisingly close together despite feeling like a big site.

The spa is closed at the moment which is worth being aware of depending on when you're planning on going and whether that's your thing!

thanks all

looking to go October term time . I think spa due to reopen end of august . So fingers crossed it won’t be delayed as it would be nice to use on one of the days .

I’ve seen some pictures of the little deer they have on site and that would be lovely to see .
