Lunch recommendations in Cambridge?

After any recommendations if anyone can help please. I know my way around Cambridge but it’s a while since I’ve been, and I’m there for lunch with a friend in a few weeks. Willing to spend a bit for somewhere nice, we’d both probably like a cocktail or two, but equally happy with anywhere where the food is good. Any recommendations gratefully received x

Parker’s Tavern, Trinity, The Ivy, The Orator, Sticks n Sushi if you like that.

The Galleria restaurant on Magdalane bridge is fabulous. Get a table on the balcony overlooking the river. I took my son there after his exams.

Little Petra is a fabulous Jordanian restaurant in Cambridge, although probably not for cocktails. The food is delicious and plentiful. You could always move on and have cocktails elsewhere, such as 'The Lab' which is just down the road, described as a '1920s cocktail with a twist of science'.

We had a fabulous meal at Bedouin in Cambridge. North African. It’s like a Bedouin tent inside. The food was delicious. You won’t get alcohol though. I’d go elsewhere for drinks afterwards.

Fancett's on Mill Road.

There is a Cambridge Foodies group on Facebook worth checking out for lots of great recommendations.

Lots of lovely recommendations, thanks everyone. I’ve always fancied Galleria whenever I walk past on a sunny day but I’ve never been in. Bedouin looks a strong contender too

Another vote for Parker's Tavern, you can eat in the bar or the restaurant - really lovely atmosphere and great food and drinks.

The Garden House, Parker’s Tavern or The Ivy. The Garden House is especially nice in a sunny day, overlooking the river

@HamHand we ate at Galleria, outside on the balcony, and it was lovely but just not as good as Bedouin.

Parker's tavern does lovely cocktails and over the road varsity used to do a great lunch menu.

Found the varsity over rated the food in the restaurant was average and service on the roof really slow.

Also the punt yard does good pizza

If you want something special 22 is amazing but a bit away from the main centre
