Trying I find a holiday in the uk. Family of four. Primary aged children. Want something with direct beach access. Devon/Cornwall/tenby areas. Every time I look, the reviews look bad. Want to spend about £700. Thanks

What are you looking for @Allhailkingcharlie? Tent, caravan or house?

Allhailkingcharlie · 07/05/2023 21:36

Caravan or house. Not camping. So anything else really.

I think your budget is probably unrealistic for a school holiday week on the south coast at short notice. The Haven and Parkdean sites which are a drive to the beach are all more expensive that week.

I think you should consider going later in the year, or possibly for a shorter period.

The good news is though that lots of places aren't fully booked so you might get lucky if you're prepared to wait and risk it.

@SiouxsieSiouxStiletto I'm happy to wait. I think I might. I've looked on hoseasons and there's quite a few in that area for that price but not right on the beach which is what I wanted. So think I might have to compromise.
