Budget £700
Self catering in North England, Lakes, Scotland.
Two of us and a dog
Love walking, quiet secluded places
Happy to glamp or a nice cottage
Must have own wc and shower
One week in June
Any recommendations please?

I can't recommend a specific property, I'm afraid, but Wooler in Northumberland might be worth a look. Very handy for the Cheviots, not far from the coast and I would think there would be plenty for your budget.

Try the Ayrshire coast, it tends to be a bit cheaper than some of the tourist hotspots. Great beaches, plenty of walking, ferries to some of the islands for day trips......
