Good (reasonable) restaurants on Upper St

Taking young adults out for family dinner - they are all quite adventurous eaters - can anyone recommend anywhere interesting, relaxed and not extortionate in the area? Don’t want a pub.

Seem to remember a nice Thai square on upper street but it was 20 years ago 😂
