I’m turning 40 this year (December), and would like to go away for a couple of nights for the weekend as a family. Any suggestions?
I’m a teacher so can only go Friday after school until Sunday evening, so nothing too far away (we’re in the Midlands).
I would like a bit of luxury, and all meals provided if possible. Also, we’re a family of 5, which is a problem for lots of family rooms/hotels!

Quite a few rooms at The Ickworth will sleep 5. It’s a lovely hotel with loads to do.

Great, thank you! Just looked and that’s exactly the kind of place I’d like. What activities are there to do? Thanks again for the recommendation!

There’s a pool, lots of options for walks, trampoline and outdoor play area, garden games, indoor games room, afternoon tea, cinema room and spa treatments.
