Gatwick parking

We are flying within the UK and annoyingly the flight leaves from the North terminal at Gatwick and returns to the South terminal. Just looking at parking, which would you do?

Outbound flight is early in the morning, return flight is late in the evening. Would you (a) park at the north terminal for ease getting to the terminal early in the morning, or (b) at the south terminal for ease getting back to the car late in the evening? Can't decide! Drive home is about an hour if that makes any difference and it's me and two kids who are 9 and 11 (so perfectly capable of walking!)

I’d park at north, as more time pressured. Coming back less of an issue as no deadline

Same. It's only 10 mins between the two anyway on the monorail.

I’d just use the meet and greet airport service, and drop off at the North terminal and then ask them to bring the car back to the South terminal. Easy :)

I’d be careful when choosing a meet and greet service. I live in a little road near Gatwick and one of the concierge parking services leaves the cars in our road. I don’t know what you pay those companies but the cars are left on public roads, at risk of damage or theft, plus, people are wasting their money

I’ve done exactly this, with this company too

We only ever used the official meet and greet Gatwick parking always worked out really well for us, never experienced any issues.
