Mini break/night out for mums

No idea if this goes in this forum, but can’t figure out where else to put it.

Mum friend and I want to spend a night away from London - nice bars and a bit of dancing without full-on clubbing or being surrounded by teenagers! (I’m 33 she’s 38). Would love any suggestions

Cheltenham or Bath are both good fun. Great shops, great restaurants and bars. We ended up in a dodgy club in Bath but was fun!

The nightlife in Hove is generally a bit tamer and more sophisticated than just down the road in Brighton.theculturetrip.com/europe/united-kingdom/england/articles/the-8-best-bars-in-hove-brighton/

Ohhh I'm off to bath in April with my friend. Where should we visit? Never been before. Defo going to book the spa.

@mac1974 look at Green Park Brasserie and Sally Lunns.
Do a walk around the city.
Consider the spa although notoriously hard to book or get any questions answered.

Belfast is a great city for nightlife and pubs, caters for all ages

@Pearfacebananapoop I've been contacted by the spa with a link to enable me to book. Some of the reviews on their fb page are a bit mixed though. Have you been?
We've booked the green park brassiere for our Saturday evening meal so thanks for that.

@mac1974 I haven't been recently went years go, we tried to go last year but they made it so hard to book we gave up!

I emailed them a week ago and didnt expect to hear back. Feels like a lottery! We are going for a sat & sun night so might book the latest sun night slot which could be nice after a day traipsing around.
