Recommendations please for a short 2 or 3 night romantic break in the UK. Looking for a nice little town - somewhere pretty - with shops and bars and restaurants.

Staithes, Matlock Bath or Bradford on Avon

Shouldn't be too hard?
North Wales, Shropshire, lakes?

Stratford Upon Avon?
Somewhere in Yorkshire?

Bath, Oxford, Cambridge or Brighton

Where do you live?

Depends where you live/how far you want to go. if southeast - Rye, Hastings, Lewes, Chichester, Winchester?

How about considering Bath for your romantic getaway? It has Georgian architecture, relaxing hot springs and the famous Roman Baths.
If you're looking for a quaint and charming destination, Castle Combe in the Cotswolds is a good one.
For a seaside escape, St. Ives in Cornwall is a great option fora perfect backdrop for a romantic trip. Alternatively, Windermere in the Lake District could be nice. Enjoy xx
