Traveling by train next week (3.5hr journey) with DH and 8 month-old twins. I bought 4 seats in order to have space to feed the babies. (Made the mistake two weeks ago only buying two seats….nightmare).
The problem is the Trainline app is giving me seats that are totally separated (not able to choose seats myself).
Non-refundable tickets, so I can only change/ amend them. I have tried again and again, but each time the seats are nowhere near each other. Wish I had just bought two seats for half the cost.
Has anyone had any experience calling them up and having them either select/ change seats or refund non-refundable tickets
