Adjoining cottages or a big place with an "annex".
Can't find any websites that allow this search function.
Going away for my sisters "big" birthday, so want them to have a nice time. However, my family have small children there for want to stay separate to have own space / reduce disturbance to birthday gal etc but close enough together that we still chill in the evenings / eat all meals together etc.

So we need main accommodation to cater for 4/5 adults (3 separate bedrooms at least) with a big ish lounge & dining room and then a separate accommodation with 2 bedrooms.

Happy with 1 huge place but clearly different bedroom areas (eg a couple of bedrooms ground floor or far away from others), 2 adjoining homes, a place with an annex etc etc.

Have a look at Bainland lodges in Woodhall Spa. They have lots of different size lodges so you could book more than one to suit the family set up?.
Its a beautifull place, the largest lodge even has its own swimming pool!.

Lower Wood Farm in Norfolk ticks all your boxes. There’s a big barn which sleeps 9 and has a large sitting room and dining table, and then a handful of smaller cottages next door. The farm also has an indoor pool and a play barn.

Bugger, have just suggested last place and apparently the location is too far. So perfect accom but different location needed!
