Hi does anyone live in the new forest? We are considering relocating there? We are thinking Milford on sea and have a healthy budget so that's not an issue. We have a 2 year old and 1 year old and just wondering if there's enough to do for them as they get older. What's it actually like living there? Is there a better are we should consider? Thanks

@Seasidegirl8
Thiz is the travel section so maybe people don’t live there?

I live in the NF albeit not New Milton. It’s a lovely place for young kids. I’ve got a young family and we spend our weekends either at the beach, walking the dog in the forest, or at places like Moors Valley or Paultons Park. Where I live has good transport links to Southampton and Bournemouth so we could have some independence growing up. I had a few friends who lived more rurally who relied a bit more on parents driving them about.

Sorry you said Milford on Sea not New Milton! Same though, I don’t live there either 😂

Thank you! That's really helpful! Do you have any advice on which parts are good for families? Does the traffic situation hinder you at all?
