DH and I celebrate 10ths in late Jan.
We are a bit strapped for cash due to a big family trip in Feb (delighted to see Florida Disney board!), but we’d still like a romantic night away in the UK for just us.
Can anyone help with the criteria below?
- about an hour/90 mins from SW London.
- we’d love a nice walk (pref good views/coastal if at all possible) - eg New Forest/South Downs/Surrey Hills.
- hotel can be a pub, just need nice rooms that feel a bit special
- no more than £250 per night. I thought this was a good budget but doesn’t seem to stretch terribly far these days!
- if there’s anywhere near a nice village for good coffee/breakfast the next morning that would be a bonus. Could be driveable.
- open to something like the pig chain, but that budget gets us the smallest room - are they worth it??
