I was wondering relisticly how long do we need in the park, will one day do or would 2 days be better? DS is 12 but is lego mad and likely to spend ages in the shop alone DD is 8.

Whats the catering like, is it best to bring a pack lunch or is it OK for a quick lunch?

Is it busy during the Easter Holidays? is it like all the other places ie queing for ages to get onthe good rides?

Looking at going for 4 days, so any suggestions for places nearby to visit?

TIA

We've only been for day at a time but haven't done it all. Your dcs are older and may find some a bit dull. Not a huge amount of traditonal Lego apart from models and a workshop. Food is ok I think,if pricey, others disagree and say take a packed lunch. Yes it could be busy and yes you'll have to queue 1 - 1 1/2 in some cases. Windsor Castle nearby, Thorpe Park/Chessington not far what else do they like doing ?

One day is easily enough. Get there before it opens in the morning and rush to the more exiting roller coaster rides first before the queues build up. In the afternoon when it is busier look at the model village, shops etc and cinema/ stunt show. Food is not great and is overpriced so take a picnic - there are nice picnic areas to sit in next to lake.

Thanks for the info guys, I really wondered if it was worth going for two days.
