Has anyone been? We've stayed at Lower Mill in the Cotswolds by the same people and love it there. Would be love to hear experiences of anyone who has been or even bought at Silverlake. Thanks

Hi - we’ve been to both. IMO Silver lake is way better than lower mill. It isn’t so busy, newer and all the accommodation feels more spacious. Only a outdoor pool but it’s heated all year and the cafe is smaller and not as good as lower mill. It is also v near Dorchester which we found very useful - restaurateur, cinema, bit of shopping etc. there is a bit of building work but not in the Beaumont part of it. We used to go to centre parcs but it just wasn’t our scene - too busy and rowdy. If you like a quietish holiday ina great surrounding it’s for you.

@Hertsdad5 that's really useful thanks as we are looking at booking today! Which of the Beamont village houses did you stay in? Thanks

no probs @mightbeintangiers we have stayed in two BV5 and Sandmartin (maybe BV9?). In the 3 bed houses the layout is identical (dbl bed, twin room and bunk bed room) but location differs…Some are slightly closer to lake and pool but honestly they are all ,close and I’d say much of a muchness. It’s a lovely sport forgot to mention mini beach and tennis courts etc
