Never been to Anglesey but it looks lovely. DH and I are looking for a really nice/luxury hotel for a 3 night stay in early September. (Or pub or posh B&B). Would appreciate recommendations 😊

Anglesey is lovely but I'm afraid I don't know of any posh hotels. Most of the resorts are tiny so wouldn't support a big hotel.

Have a look at Tre-Ysgawen Hall, been there for a Spa day and it was lovely x

or you could try the The Bulkeley Hotel in Beaumaris, I think these are the best two. Beuamaris is the best location though x

We stayed at chateaurhianfa.co.uk/ a couple of years ago which was lovely

Thanks for all the suggestions - unfortunately all are fully booked on our available dates so now looking elsewhere. Anglesey will have to be next year 🙂

We stayed at the bulkley in may and it was dreadful, really dated which I expected but the staff were awful. Did nothing to make you feel welcome, so set in your ways. I got properly told off because I hadn't brought my room card to breakfast (had my room key) as apparently guests just come down when they want (imagine!) we had booked though and appeared with the right room number at the allotted time and she still was so rude. Reception similar, cost a fortune and they need to go visit other hotels . Glad we didn't eat there.

Gazelle hotel, overlooking the Menai Straits. Lovely food and views

Trearddur Bay Hotel
rooms at The Seacroft
Sandy Mount

In Trearddur Bay - the Trearddur Bay Hotel or The Seacroft. There's great food at the Seacroft or the Sea Shanty. I've not tried Ocean's Edge yet but I've heard good things about it.
