I want to visit Liverpool next month? Has anyone taken the river cruise in Liverpool- Mersey Ferries? Is it worth the money?

Yeah, it's a nice little cruise. You get great views of the waterfront and there's a narration that points out what you're seeing. One of the boats plays Ferry Across The (bloody) Mersey on repeat, or at least it did.

Liverpool is a great place to visit

I've been lot's recently, what are you into? If you like history and/or pubs I can recommend some really good things to do.

Go to Crosby beach to see the Gormley statues. Bold Street for food. Yes, it's worth doing the ferry. The two cathedrals are both worth a visit.

Liverpool is a great city, having only visited last year for the first time. We went to The British Music Experience - www.britishmusicexperience.com/
and Western Approaches (amazing underground WWII bunker) - liverpoolwarmuseum.co.uk/. Wanted to do the Mersey Ferry but didn't have enough time. Have heard some great things about it.

There is also a great guide to Liverpool and (other areas) on a website called Keetoo.com - we used their app at Easter - definitely made our money go further and we loved the flexibility it gave us - keetoo.com/15-great-things-to-do-in-liverpool/
Might be worth a look for some other ideas too.

Went last summer but Mersey ferries weren't running cos of Covid, either that or they weren't taking club card, l can't remember .
But just wanted to jump on and say what a fantastic city it is l would definitely go back.
I think you can catch a train to Pprt Sunlight which is meant to be good too.
