Where in Cornwall & Devon?

We are staying in Dartmouth at the end of Sept for a week and looking for suggestions where to visit (scenic) & things to do in Cornwall & Devon (up to 2 hrs from Dartmouth). It will be for 4 adults, in our 40s & 60s.
Already visited Paignton, Torquay, Brixham, Exeter so not those. Can’t walk far as one of us has mobility issues.

There are some beautiful National Trust houses in the area - Coleton Fishacre is an absolute favourite, Saltram House and Buckland Abbey are nice. Fingle Bridge is pretty with a great pub and you can sit and look at the river and not walk too far. St Michaels Mount is nice too but a bit over 2 hours from Dartmouth. Lots of lovely little seaside towns all along the south coast.

Many thanks. I like the look of fingle bridge. Could be a nice rest stop. St Michael’s mound is a bit too far but we’ve been to Mont St Michel I’m France which is a big version anyway 😃
Have you been to St Ives or Newquay at all?

St lves always v busy although lovely.
Newquay is a bit of a party town and not so nice in my opinion plus quite a drive from Devon

St Ives is definitely busy but should be less so in September once schools return. Tate St Ives is worth a visit.

I love Looe. It’s got a very pretty harbour surrounded by various restaurants and cafes with stunning views across Looe Beach. You can catch various boat trips or just watch the fishing boats coming in to unload their catches. There’s also a railway Line that links Looe with Liskeard. On a sunny day, it’s a beautiful journey and Liskeard itself has some interesting shops, safe beaches, and good restaurants.

Don't bother with Newquay, St Ives is beautiful but will be super crowded even in September.
Falmouth always worth a visit, catch passenger ferry to St Mawes...
