Hi
Can anyone recommend a taxi company to pick up from Inverness airport and drop off at youth hostel?
Also any restaurant recommendations with 11yo & 7yo who eat everything & me who doesn't like curry.

Scotch and Rye and The Castle Tavern would be my top choices. The Mustard Seed and The Kitchen Brasserie are very popular and quite rightly so; they’re both excellent. However, not sure the food would appeal much to your dc (though they do both have a kids menu) and they’re certainly not budget.

There's a regular airport bus that will take you to the bus/train station and you could get a taxi from there? Or walk - Inverness is a small city and it would be about 10 mins to walk. (And Inverness is a small airport so easy to navigate).

There are plenty of good eateries in Inverness. Pity you don't like curry as Cinnamon is fab. Mustard Seed is an excellent restaurant - bit pricy. I also like Aspendos right in the centre which is Turkish. The Eden Court has a nice relaxed cafe and it's a lovely walk along the river (if it's not pouring!). I often eat at the Waterfront on Huntly St which is close the B&B I stay in when I'm working in Inverness.

It's quite a compact city centre so you should find something you like.

Thanks @Cazziebo - we're not landing til 9 & youth hostel closes at 10 so will do lots of walking after that but going for convenience after bedtime.
Will check out all the food suggestions too. Only there a couple of days before we head to Fort William for Harry Potter train but hoping to do as much as possible in short time.
