Butlins Minehead-experiences and accommodation recommendations?

Hi

I'm thinking of taking my 2 year old on one of the just for tots breaks at Butlins in Minehead...

Never been before...so can anyone recommend what level of accommodation to go for? I was thinking a "comfort apartment" as I'd like to be able to do some cooking if I want as he's a fussy wee dude when it comes to food.

Any general recommendations too? He'll be 2 years 9 months by the time we go...anything to deffo do/deffo avoid? Top tips? Thanks!!

We've been a few times. I recommend the bungalows if your money stretches to that as it's a bit closer to all the amenities and a lot easier to wrestle the toddler in and out. Plus you get an undercover patio that gives you somewhere to park the buggy.

Thanks...the bungalows mustn't be available...the best I can get is a comfort apartment.

How far away is the car park? Cant gauge from the map?

The comfort plus apartments are near where I stayed silver bungalows. Took my 5year old maybe 5mins to reach the pavilion. The comfort apartments are on the other side near the delux apartments which are a little further away from the pavilion, but closer to the pool and outdoor play area. There is a under 5s area indoor fairground and soft play which is closer to the silver bungalows (Holincote village).

I booked last minute and got more choice of apartments. Initially I was going for comfort apartments.
We went 1st week of Easter holidays so it was a bit busier. I've been just for tots at bognor and loved it. Not busy and lots of young families. Nice pace.

Shows are booked up quickly but I never booked and still got in after doors opened and didn't have to queue. Soft play booked up quickly but people often cancelled the early morning sessions. Tots fairground was a hit with my 5yr old.

Beach is a short walk away so that's also a great option too. You'll see it as you drive in the entrance. I hope you and your family enjoy yourselves!
