The Sands. Beach front luxury apartments from 2 to 5 bedrooms. I stayed in the sea view penthouse last year a d it was fab, going back in August.
It's on the nicer North bay close to parks and boating lake.

Don't go anywhere near the Grand!

Recently stayed at The Chapel House Hotel, fabulous place, highly recommend.

I'll second that.. or the bloody awful Royal. Never again will I put myself through that experience

We have had more than one successful stay in the Bike and Boot which is child and dog friendly and has a really nice atmosphere.
The food is not recommended but there are plenty of cafes and restaurants.

These could not be closer to South Bay beach. Plus at the mo, Sandside is lovely for food and drinks of an evening and as a family
