Hello,

Me and my partner are going to York for two nights end of this month.

We've been loads of times before but struggling to think of things to do indoors (we are going to the railway museum) but just in case the weather is a bit off.

If it's nice we are going to Rowntree park and having a picnic (DS is 3)

We are staying in the city centre and don't mind walking anywhere but we don't really want to be driving too much once there.

Any other suggestions please?

Thank you Smile

The minster is brilliant especially with small children. Loads of space, plenty to see and the do children explorer packs with binoculars, magnifying glass and trails to follow.

NRM Railway Museum, York’s Chocolate Story, Yorkshire Museum, York Castle Museum, Rowntrees Park. There’s Dig and Jorvik Museum but they might be a bit old. There’s Hole in Wand. There’s also bowling at both Monks Cross and Clifton Moor (buses go from town). Cinemas (2) in city centre and one at Monks Cross and one at Clifton Moor.
