Which centre parcs?

What a middle class question… Grin

In laws have offered to come away with us for a week in May - us and 20 mth old DD. We don’t fancy the flight hassle and want activities on tap for an active toddler/easy access for us to have a bit of alone time so going for a centre parcs. Anyone got any thoughts on which would be best with DD? We’ve counted out Cumbria as too far away, and having been to Longleat I think it’s too hilly for a toddler on a bike seat…but the others all much of a muchness on cost/location so we can’t decide!
Thanks!

Sherwood and Elveden have much better pools than Woburn (and Woburn is very hilly). Between those 2 I would pick whichever is closest/cheaper. Both have lovely toddler pools, although Elveden has a lazy river which is a big hit with our lot.

Going to disagree and say Woburn with a little one, it’s really compact and the facilities are all clean and new. Have been twice and can’t remember any hills. Lovely spa as well if you manage to get away for a massage!

Elveden

Woburn is really easy with little ones - much smaller than the other parks. No need to hire bikes or anything.

With a little one Elveden and the reason is that the centre burned down at some point in the 90s and when they rebuilt it everything was put in the centre rather than the sports centre being away from there.

Can be a bit frustrating if you put young children in one of those bike trailers coming out of jardin des sport, then bike to the centre to get some food and have to take them out of the trailer, shop and put them back in the trailer. We have visited 3 Center Parcs over the years, usually go back to Elveden (good seating areas in Jardin des Sport) however this summer we are doing Woburn post GCSE for Ds2.

If you don't want to hire bikes pay to choose a villa (which we used to do) or choose the inner ring of lodges so you are close by.

Thanks all!

We’ve decided on Elveden. The bigger pool did it (for me Wink) and we like cycling around.
