Edinburgh Dining & Drink Suggestions

Hotel now sorted.

Heading up with a couple of girlfriends in March for a weekend , we have booked Harvey Nichols for brunch one day, but looking for suggestions on nice places to eat or drink in the evening as assume we should book.

All in our early 50s, like a nice lively atmosphere. Open to any food type other than Indian.

Thinking the Dome for cocktails, is it worth eating there too?

Thanks

The Voodoo Rooms or Paradise Palms both have a lively atmosphere. Food is excellent at The Dome but from what I gather, service is hit or miss.

I wouldn't recommend eating at the Dome, the food isn't bad but service isn't always great, as mentioned above. Fazenda is nice and has a good atmosphere (Brazilian steakhouse but reasonably upmarket) or Aizle if you want fine dining.

Brewhemia is always lively and a real "anything goes" sort of place.
I've only had afternoon tea at The Dome but I wasn't impressed with the food.
Do you want a lively eating place i.e. a bar that does food, or restaurant and then drinks elsewhere?

Thanks all.

A lively bar that does food would be good!
