General locations or specific accommodation?

Tregongeeves Farm Cottages in Cornwall are brilliant. We had a lovely break there with 4yo twins and a 2yo. They got to go help feed the animals every morning and there’s a lovely play barn and pool. Really good location close to plenty of activities. My twins still talk about that holiday two years later.

Scarborough! We are overlooking the beautiful North Bay five minutes from the beach, ten minutes walk to the town centre . No car needed as sea life centre, Peasholm Park, museums , boat trips all just a short walk away . But there is the North Yorkshire Moors and the stunning coastline for those who want to venture a little further .

We went to Swanage last year with a 3 year old (and a baby, but so small that he was more of a bundle than a participant) and thought it was a great location for little ones.

Quite close to you but ways loved Ribby Village. Lots of place in North Wales are good for little ones. Greenwood park and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. Otherwise I agree with PP. Swanage and the Isle of Purbecks are stunning for little ones. Farmer Palmers, steam train to the beach, lovely.

If Cornwall isn't too far for you then Bosinver Cottages near St Austell is perfect for families with younger kids.

Center Parcs plenty to do and cheap when you don't need to go during school holidays.

I think the Isle of Wight is a dream for small children. All the excitement of the ferry ride, Short distances once there, lots of kid-friendly attractions. But it's a long way from your home.
