Half term weekend with young children?

Where can we take our 5 and 2 yo children for a night or two away over half term? It has to be max couple hours from london and fun for them in cold weather (not seaside). Thank you!

Alton towers or Lego land both have hotels

Train to York

Woburn Safari park and Gulliver’s Land

Agree with Legoland and staying at the hotel

Thank you. I would love to stay at the Lego land hotel - it's looking very expensive for a themed room. Would you say it's worth the cost?
