Royal Albert hall seating query

Hi
Has anyone sat at the very back of the Royal Albert Hall? I want to take the kids to see cirque de soleil there and the only seats left are at the very back. They’re still around £100 a ticket so just wondered how far back we’d actually feel and is it worth paying so much for almost back row seats??
Thanks,

Is at at the back of the arena, or in the stalls? The back stalls are fine -my favourite choice balancing up cost and visibility. The back of the arena I probably wouldn’t unless it was a film screening which is usually raised right up

I think it’s the circle. So it feels quite far away then?

It does, but there are almost always screens as well and I don’t think you lose out. I’ve also sat in the front stalls/choir area before - so almost behind the stage - for the proms, and it was actually fine too!

There’s a fab site called theatre monkey or possibly seat monkey that gives really detailed advice about seats at different London venues. Worth a look there if you haven’t already
