HMS Belfast to IMW

Can anyone tell me the best way to get from HMS Belfast to the Imperial War Museum with a 7yo tomorrow please? Tube or walking?

I’ve looked at the TFL journey planner but as I’ve never been to that area, I can’t work out which way is best.

Walking will take you around half an hour to walk.

Alternatively you could take the tube from London Bridge and take the Northern Line to Elephant and Castle and walk from there, or change to the Bakerloo line and get off at Lambeth North, the nearest station.

It's in walking distance but you can always break it up at the Southbank Centre. There's a Pret there if you wanted to stop for a bit if 7 yo gets tetchy.

Google Maps is favouring the 133 bus from London Bridge to Elephant & Castle, that's the option I'd go for if you don't fancy the walk.

It's a tedious walk along ugly main roads. I'd take the 133 bus or get the Northern Line from London Bridge to Elephant.

Ah in my head I'd walk along the South Bank then turn up near the London Eye. Now you've made me realise It makes it a much longer walk albeit nicer.

Even if you had the time to spare and did it that way Ulysses it's a grotty walk from the Eye to the IWM.
