Hi, does anyone know if the communal space in a 4 bed place is bigger than that in a 3 bed? Trying to decide what configuration to book. Thanks!

I don’t know but we had a 4bed disabled access chalet (had a big downstairs bedroom and bathroom which might have made the living space smaller?) and the sofa space wasn’t huge. I think we’d have struggled too all sit down if there’d been 8 of us.

Thanks for the info, we are a big group so would be good to have space to congregate!

Not noticeably so. It depends what style you go for. If you get a 2 story then there's a bit at the top of the stairs if you're thinking about kids playing ect. How many of you are there? We've had each type full of adults and each one has been big enough.
If I remember right the single story ones have the same layout. Just an extra bedroom popped on the side for the 4 bed.

And to add, because of the set up it suits big groups well. You could all chill in the living area if needed but also break of into a couple of groups between the living space and dining space. But it wouldn't feel like 2 separate groups because they're close and it's so open plan.

Thanks @edin16 that’s really helpful. We need 9 bedrooms, we are 15 adults and 3 children!

Some sites now have extra big villas. You could always get one of those and a smaller one and have one 'host' house?

We went with a big family group for a big celebration and had one of the two storey houses with games room sauna and jacuzzi and then the rest of us in the standard accommodation very close by. It worked really well.

We found the interconnected lodges at Bluestone better for big group gatherings
