Hi,
Can anyone please recommend things for a family to do in Perth.

How old are the kids (assuming family means kids?)
That's not a huge amount in Perth itself but you're well located to get to a lot of places within an hour or so drive
Scone palace
Pitlochry
Dunkeld
Blair Castle
Stirling castle
V&A museum at Dundee
St Andrews
Blair Drummond safari park
Day trip to Edinburgh by train (or park & ride from Ferry Toll or Ingliston)
Glamis castle (where the Queen Mum grew up)
Scottish Deer Centre (sometimes on Groupon)
Scotland's secret bunker

A few things to do in Perth - it is a lovely place, but in reality it is the countryside around it that is nicer. Particularly in the autumn.

How old are the kids and how adventurous are you?

If the children are smallish (under 8ish) Active Kids at Stanley (5 mins up the A9 from Perth) is great. Moncrieffe Hill are Kinnoull Hill are pleasant walks with lovely views. The North Inch and the South Inch (parks by the river, both walking distance from the centre of Perth) both have good playgrounds and the North Inch is great for balance bikes. Perth swimming pool is also great for younger children.

Auchingarrich wildlife park in Crieff is less than half an hour away and is great for primary school aged kids.
