Weekend in Jersey

We are thinking of having a weekend away in Jersey - a few days anyway - probably Feb, Easter or May half term. Two primary age, our last flight as a family was awful as DS (who has SEN) got really agitated. He was fine on all previous flights but as we have family a long haul flight away we want to break them in gently.
Any recommendations of places to stay or a reasonable way to do this? We would fly from Manchester (or Liverpool if that's doable as well).

I’d definitely wait until May half term so you can spend some time on the beach. Look at staying at either Les Ormes Resort or The Merton Hotel.
In terms of dealing with his agitation, try to get to the root of what caused it. Maybe he didn’t like the enclosed cabin or couldn’t conceive how a huge plane can stay in the air. Or maybe it was being so close to people that he didn’t know. Then you can address the actual issue. If he doesn’t get how planes stay in the air, use a book or YouTube videos to explain it. Keep him distracted at the airport and on the plane, perhaps take along a few new toys.

Just coming back to this, I think it is the enclosed space plus the noise. He also feels a bit sick so that can't help (but he takes tablets for it and has had a successful train journey recently so it may have given him a bit of confidence).
I will look up those hotels - we would have flexibility to fly back a day later assuming DD school doesn't change their planned INSET day (which they did last year Confused)
