Any Glasgow mumsnetters?

Was just wondering if anyone could tell me which premier inn is the best to stay in that's close to all the bars & restaurants?

And how far is the centre from the airport?

Any recommendations would be great thanks

Airport is about 10-15 mins in a cab. There’s plenty buses run to the airport from the city too. How long are you staying in the city and will it be a weekend? I ask as if it is if avoid central station area, but during the week it’s much quieter! If I was staying in a premier inn, I’d prob opt for George square, but only because my preference is to socialise in the merchant city.

George square or Buchanan Galleries PI are the most central.
I think 10-15min is a bit ambitious, even in a taxi! The airport is about 10 miles away but travel time rally depends on the time of day and how busy the motorway is. If you're staying at either of those hotels the airport bus will be fine.

We stay at Buchanan Galleries when we go to Glasgow. Like a pp said, George Square is also a good option. I just prefer Buchanan Galleries.
