Helicopter transfer

Hello it’s my husbands 40th and instead of a helicopter flight I was wondering if we could fly somewhere for the day and back? Perhaps the Isle of Wight. I’m a bit paranoid about safety though so would love any recommendations of any companies you might have used. Thanks

The Scilly Isles. It might be a summer only thing, though, so you'd need to check. I went on a day trip a few years ago; flew out and got the ferry back. If you can afford it, I'd suggest flying both ways as the ferry trip was long.

You could also get the night sleeper from Paddington to Penzance. It's so weird going to sleep in London and waking up in Cornwall Grin

There's a few helicopter charter firms, I've never used one but I've seen adverts around Leicestershire in the past

We did Penzance helicopters Penzance to Tresco, we went back on Skybus to Lands End to do small plane as well and stayed on Tresco. You can get day trips.

We’ve done the Scillies by helicopter and light plane, I’d recommend staying for a couple of nights though, it’s a nice spot.
