Extra special self catering accommodation or a hotel to celebrate my 50th between Xmas and New Year for 2 adults and 2 children. Had looked at outskirts of Bath or Oxford but open to anywhere in the South of England. Any recommendations please

Thanks had considered a similar hotel in Brockenhurst but unsure how suitable for children. They are 9 and 11. Maybe keep that for trip with friends. I am leaning towards a self catering accommodation with log burner, hot tub (and indoor pool would be a bonus) close to a good pub/ restaurant with country walks and local town to potter round. Just have to find it x
