Teens in London

My daughter and boyfriend are 16 years old. He was given tickets for a really popular West End show for his birthday and his mother booked flights from way up North to London for the week end. I found out about all this when I was asked to book accommodation and here is my question - they are really responsible kids who have both flown all over with no issues....but can I book them into a hotel when they are under 18? (I'm paying, obviously, and so it would be my credit card details.) Wasn't sure where to post! Thank you for any advice you have.

I believe they can stay in a Premiere Inn at 16.

Or the YHA Hostels, which are actually more like Travelodges, not dorms etc.

No to Premier Inn as they have to be over 18 for booking a room.

I would try youth hostels and or the YMCA.

Most hotels say they have to be 18. Make sure they take ID proving they are 16 as if either is young looking they could be refused entrance at the theatre. (Dd is an usher).

Can someone go with them to the hotel at least.
