Insurance for coach trip?

Hi I don't often go away (at all)
Want to go on coach trip (to tourist place one day then stay overnight then another place the day after then back home)
Altogether £220 for me and my child
I'm just worried about getting covid beforehand so not being able to go and wasting the money?
What insurance would I get for this? How much would this cost?

Hi if you check staysure they should cover for a trip like this. I'm not sure how much it would be but our annual policy which includes Europe costs £85 I think, so it shouldn't be majorly pricey.

It says it needs to be a minimum of 2 nights stay over
Would that mean they wouldn't pay out then as I'm only staying one night?

I don't know then.

If you’re travelling on an organised tour with a company they usually sell insurance alongside their trips.
I’ve got a trip booked in December and the insurance was an extra £9 per person.

It is an organised trip but they definitely don't sell insurance with it unfortunately ☹️

Can the company advise on where you can get insurance from them? Or do they have a cancellation policy? A lot of places I’ve seen recently are offering to move you to a different date trip for example if you can’t travel
I’d definitely be asking them what their covid policy is
