Centre Parcs crèche

Hi, going to Longleat Center Parcs soon with DH, 3 year old and 8 month old. Considering using the crèche once for the 8 month old so 3yo can have complete attention from both parents whilst swimming. Has anyone used the crèche there before? It makes me nervous leaving LO with strangers so just hoping to hear from someone who may have used the same place. Thanks.

I used the one in elvesden when my little one was about that age and it was fine. We went swimming and they had a system where they’d call the pool and leave a message if there was a problem (as we obviously didn’t have our mobile in the pool) and we just swung by the lifeguard station every 20 mins or so and checked if there was a message. In the end they did ask us to collect about 20 mins early as she’d got a bit upset (in need of a nap I think!) but the first 2 hours she was fine. The staff were friendly and professional.

Yes we put DS in there when he was 18 months for a morning so we could canoe. He loved it, they were brilliant. He came away with a beautifully decorated leaf crown!

Ah this is amazing to hear! I just needed some reassurance from someone who had actually used the service, thank you both for the replies.

We used the Elveden one in 2018 when eldest was 6 months old and were happy with it. Planning to use the woburn one when we go next month for 18 month old.
Does anyone know the woburn creche sessions times? Trying to roughly plan what we want to rush to book when it opens up and whether afternoon creche session will work with nap time

We used to use the crèche once every trip and my DH and I would go to the spa together. It worked well.

Hi @September17 - no it wasn't 1 on 1, its like a nursery so think the ratio at that age is 1:3. We've used it since I wrote that message maybe 3 times and it seems a very professional setup, lovely staff and they give a pretty thorough report on what they got up to each time. My youngest is a more sensitive soul that my eldest so was definitely not keen being left at 18 months old but they took great care settling him and reported he was happy within 5-10 mins of me leaving. I think they will call after 20 mins if the child isn't settling.
Hope you have / had a lovely trip!
