We are as many others going to Cornwall, in fairness we go every year and stay just outside Padstow.

We normally go to the beach or national trust places or potter around little villages. Are there any recommendations for places to go if the weather is really wet / bad ?

Thanks

If it’s wet, everyone will be at the aquarium in Newquay, the Pirate Adventure or the lobster hatchery.
Trevathan Farm is good for a browse and a bite to eat.
There are several brewery tours and Trevibban Mill does a winery tour trevibbanmill.com/guided-tour/ which children can do too. some of it is outside, but we did it in the rain and it wasn’t too bad. After browsing the vineyards, you’ll go into the wine-making room, and then go upstairs to the bar and restaurant to sample some drinks.

Always check the weather in other areas of Cornwall. We do this and plan our day around where looks best. We’ll happily travel up to an hour to avoid rain/ chase the sun. I Highly recommend places around Lizard for days out. Tremenheere Gardens near Penzance is fantastic for a sunny day too.
