We're thinking of going somewhere next month
For 4 or 5 days with DS 15 and DS 17 - who really doesn't want to come away "because it will be boring"

We would ideally like somewhere near the coast and are thinking maybe Brighton might appeal to the 17yo

Does anyone have any suggestions for places that might appeal to teenagers please?

Bournemouth is nice, lovely beaches, lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Lovely gardens with live music in the evenings. Surf lessons, zip wire, walking, cycling.

We're at Whitby at the minute. DS15 has been electric mountain biking with DH and we did some general mooching at the beach. We've picked his friend up from York where we hired a self drive boat for an hour that they loved. Today we're dropping them at Flamingoland, tomorrow the water park at Scarborough and Friday it's mountain biking again.

It's required a bit of planning but so far it has worked out really well. I've booked the activities for later in the day to fit in with teenage sleeping patterns and in the mornings DH and I go for walks round the town.
