There are a couple of cycle hires in Keswick, a small one near the mini roundabout just past the Co-op.
And a larger one close to Booths supermarket.
You can then cycle / drive to Winnlatter forest ( approx 5 miles away ) where you will find lots of cycle tracks with various grades. It is a well known area so will be busy with other cyclists .

There’s a cycle hire shop actually at the Whinlatter visitor centre
If you’re staying in the south, then use bike hire at Grizedale.
Regarding paddle boarding, it depends where you’re staying. lakedistrictpaddleboarding.co.uk/where-we-paddle/ Coniston and Derwentwater are likely to be the least busy.

The bus from Keswick to Buttermere is a good service, it's an open top bus at the moment so you can enjoy the scenery and not worry about parking.

There is a fairly substantial car park in Buttermere village, behind the Bridge Inn I think. There is also one at the other end of Buttermere Lake (Gatescarth Farm) and more parking beyond the village towards Crummock Water. Always a good idea to get there by mid morning though.

For cycling - Whinlatter if you're staying in the North Lakes and Grizedale for South Lakes.

If you're in south lakes theres a couple of bike hire places in Windermere. You can ride down to Bowness and get the ferry to the other side of the lake and there's a nice track along the lake shore to Wray castle you can take.

If you want a flat cycle track there is a long one up the west coast from Maryport to Silloth
