South Devon Sandy beach - no dogs!

We are looking for a Sandy beach to take two toddlers where there will be no dogs! My daughter has a severe phobia of them. I've researched but there is always a problem like no parking nearby which would be a problem with a pram and all our stuff. Please can anyone advise?

Goodrington? Dogs are allowed on the east side but there is space between the two sides. Lots of parking Smile

I live in South Devon. Look at Torquay. Several there.

Exmouth: section of the beach has no dogs in summer.

Broadsands is good. The car park leads straight on to the promenade, but it’s pricey. It’s part sandy beach, part grassy park. It’s known for great sandwiches (and ice cream), beach huts and kayak hire. Lovely for walks along the promenade. There are toilets and accessible facilities, though! Keep an eye, too: the tide apparently comes right up to the promenade wall.
Preston Sands - soft sand, with rock pools. There’s toilets, a shop, first aid room, cafés and other amenities. Deckchairs are available for rent. I’d say it’s pretty accessible, too, so good for buggies. The beach isn’t too big, which is ideal when you’ve got little ones to keep an eye on. There’s also a grassy park (Preston Green).
Also, I think Torre Sands would be suitable.

Broadsands beach just down from Paignton is lovely, good parking and no dogs May to Sept.

Blackpool Sands (near Dartmouth) has parking next to the beach, cafe, toilets, sand, no dogs.

Yes, just looked up Torre Abbey Sands is no dogs May to Sept either, and it's right in Torquay town as well so lots of places to get food, ice creams etc.

We went to exmouth today, it was lovely. We will try Torre Abbey sands next. Are the restaurants right near the beach?
