Does anyone know if I need to wear my swimmers with my 2 yr old? Or is it like Legoland where I can just wear shorts and just follow him around trying to avoid the sprinklers

definitely shorts allowed - only young children will be in swimmers. You need a timed ticket when you enter.

There's not much to do with a 2 year old at Thorpe Park though - Legoland is much better for that age.
