Can anyone recommend a nice family friendly hotel in or around Norwich area ?There will be 2 adults and 2 children 10 & 12. I would like to find one which isn't a chain hotel if possible

Dunston Hall or Park Farm

What part of Norwich OP? Lots are chains, do you want to be in the city or outside. What budget & when do you plan to visit? Have you considered renting a holiday cottage? That was the better option for us when our children were young, offered more flexibility. Dunston Hall, is a golf/leisure resort, looks very grand on arrival, outside the city centre though, you don’t really want to be driving into the city centre if you can avoid it, lots of park and rides around the outskirts, Very mixed reviews on Dunston Hall, it wouldn’t be my first choice with a young family, but have a look, who knows it may suit your family. I don’t know Park Farm. Good luck with your planning, are you visiting to see Dippy the Dinosaur, at Norwich Cathedral he’s here on loan 13 July till e o Oct. I think I might go and see him!

If you're feeling flush then the B&B 38 St Giles is divine. Or at least, it used to be! The assembly House in the centre is lovely, not sure about family friendliness though. The Georgian Townhouse is good and does rooms.
