Anyone been to Sandy Balls out of season? What's it like? Looking for a possible inset day weekend break.

Always been good, surrounding areas get busy on bank holidays

We love it. Have been going for years. More accommodations built in recent years, so I don't think you can pitch your own tent/caravan anymore. Beautiful surroundings, lots of good walks and pubs.

Nearby, Moors Valley Park has lots to do for kids.

Thanks both. What's the indoor pool like? Think we are going to book, but it will be November so will be mostly going for wintery walks otherwise. Moors Valley nearby sounds good.
