Solo trip

So I recently split with my partner and also haven’t been feeling very well the last week or so, works not going great and just general life is getting a bit on top of me.

I’ve decided I want to hand my daughter over to her dad for a couple of nights and have a mini break on my own. This is the first time I’ve ever gone away on my own so just looking for tips on traveling solo and maybe some recommendations because I don’t have a clue where to go!?

I’d like somewhere pretty private and I love walking so somewhere with some nice walks would be lovely as well. I live in Lincolnshire so somewhere localish would be nice. Any ideas? Thinking of booking an air bnb but I just am not sure where! X

Go for it ...
I'd go to the smartest hotel with a spa I could afford !!!!!
Preferably in the countryside for the walks ...
I'd take lots of books and treats
I'd sit and read and watch people
I'd eat yummy foods
Take long baths
Have a swim

Get dressed up for dinner
Eat chocolate in bed watching tv

A spa hotel is so tempting, honestly I could live without the long walks, I’d just be happy with a lie in and being able to lay in bed not doing much all day! Going to look into that x

I know this is not quite what you said you wanted but the last solo trip I took was to Edinburgh and I absolutely loved it. There's loads to do, lovely places to eat (and drink!) and it was lovely just walking through the city in the sunshine.

I have been to Edinburg before, it was lovely but I think I’d be a bit scared to go there on my own haha, this is my first trip away on my own! X

Look on Airbnb for a place with a hot tub.

I’ve looked into staying at a spa hotel alone and the prices seem to be the same as for 2 people.
